The Colchester Engineering Society began celebrating it's Diamond Jubilee year by sponsoring the prestigeous Colchester Lecture in April 2004. This annual civic event was attended by some 250 of Colchester's "movers and shakers" together with students and other members of the public. The organisers, Colchester's "Opportunities in Technology" committee, were delighted to receive the Society'd support for the occasion which again was a huge success. This was an ideal opportunity for the Society to promote it's comprehensive activities. For more details see below and visit the Meetings and Events page by clicking here.
